yes! this is the confirmation post to say that the recipe (trigger + action rule) we have created in the previous post has successfully updated in my Salesforce chatter environment.

here is the proof,

Name of the application under my post shows that it is posted through IFTTT.com api.

Testing the Recipe (Trigger & Rule) created on IFTTT.com

I just happened to see a very good & interesting site on internet which would help internet to work for us.

This is how it is designed & made to work,

 we have seen some API programs which would let you post & share an article on multiple social media websites at one go. all you had to was to grant the permission to post it on your wall. you had a problem of searching for a particular application & api.

Now, IFTTT.com (If This Then That) with a new trend of creating a trigger (rule) which lets something happen (action). we just need to set up the environment the way we want with out writing a single line of code.

Prerequisites:
* Create an account on IFTTT.com
* Login --> create a recipe
* Create a Trigger --> click on "If this" link

Step 1: Choose an application ( I have chosen "Blogger") -> choose a blog if you have multiple blogs
Step 2: It would prompt you to grant the access to fetch the content --> do the needful
Step 3: Click Save --> New page --> click on the fist box type thing you see on the page

Now that, you have created a Trigger. Its your turn to create an action rule (what has to happen if something new occurs on Blogger)

Step 4: Homepage --> Click on "That" link which is present along side of "If This Then".
       Note: Now, you may see "this" would be replaced with "Blogger" icon.
Step 5: Choose --> Salesforce Chatter
Step 6: it would prompt you to enter credentials to access Salesforce api to perform the action
Now that, you have created a trigger & an action accordingly.
you also have an option of creating template for "how should it look like in the destination application? (Chatter is our destination application here).
Step 7: Select the required options (Ex. Title, URL, Link, Content Etc.,) --> Click Create.

All Set, it would start working fine.

Now, as per the recipe created by following above 7 steps..
Go to your blogger account, Create a new post & publish it.
you can see that the link or the template you have created in the Step 7 would be reflected in your Salesforce Chatter Environment.

Note: make sure, you have your recipe turned on. There is an option to turn your recipe off if you feel its annoying anytime. you can revoke the access for any application you have linked here.

I am writing this article to check the functionality of the sample recipe I have created just a couple of minutes ago. I did get the result & was so happy to see it happen in real time.

second half of 2009!!!

the reason behind writing the second half of the year 2009 is "i was so happy" all the time because i was not bitten by the love bug...

this half of the year,i was in my third year of my engineering.i was also busy heading a department's association and being a part of it..and i have oganized many events and having loads of fun all the time and learning from the same..

to say frankly,i was not attracted to anybody.. only thing i did was jus tthinking about myself and my life..

i too had my vision for my future... and i just hav only one ambition in my life to start my own company and to lead a happy life..

beginning of this year is marked with the routine tech and cultural festivals of our college.. so,obviously no other thot of doing something till our fun comes to an end...

this is how a year came to an end..
no resolutions... no ambitions. din work hard... did nothing,,
just had lots of fun...

guess,this is the only year which i have spent having nothing in my mind and doing watever i want..according to my wish...

2009.!!!

this is the year where i entered second year of my engineering .. it means now im in the core of the software department.. frankly speaking our department and all our lecturers are really kool and never worked so hard for sake of marks..

as i was in d fourth sem of my Engg.. i was interested in doing software projects(coding).. at the same time.. i started attending some club which was started by a group of our seniors for sake of technology interested candidates... those people were so friendly and used to teach us all required coding scripts required for the project..

at first,started off with WEB devlopment and slowly moved on to website making and a bit further,.. this is the year i bought my new HP laptop.. i had for three months and returned after that... it was useful for doing all these tasks..

in the same instinct,there was a project release for interested candidates from so called MICROSOFT.. started doing it after finding some interested team mates.. i guess,we were almost done wit it but couldn complete it cause of some other reasons..

we even had lots of fun doing this project together.. we also had our university's  Tech & Cultural fests.. so that we even spent lots of time participating and commenting on some other thing...FB was not so famous in this period.. but i was already on the site .... i registered when i was a Dotcom freak...

acedemically,did not nothing better.. jus spent the time as a senior now.. and waiting for exams to enter the third year of my Engg...
it means that i have completed 50% of my Engg...
Finally in May,we had our exams and got through all the exams..
first half of 2009 got over...

2008 - year of technologies !!!

first of all.. i need to tell you why i am writing everything about my life rather than something useful... but this is my personal blog where i wanted to my own feelings. you hav no right to ask this question....

well, the year 2008.... i could say that  it was a good year in which i successfully completed first year of my engineering and entered second year... this year is entirely dedicated for technologies as a software student. there was no change in my life as i didnt start doing something new in my life.
i could say "no love" this year.. so i was so happy and not very close with anyone and was doing my own work all the time... no worries and always happies..
i still remember the first half of 2008,where spent most of time preparing for IIT and other entrance exams as i was an aspirant. but all my efforts were in vain. just gotta know lots of unknown things and learnt a lot from that..
we also enjoyed the first half because of our university's technical and cultural fest's.. as a junior,i tried to participate in  all events i could. and had fun during all shows.. i could say it was jus ok. not up to the mark...

and also,i would like to thank all my first year roommates (3 ppl).. i dont know how i spent all year.. it went fine with all of them.. i would like to thank a spl roommate.... he is a guest thou. ..


it just shows that "there will be some result for any work you do"

this is the month i had my exams and was happy after my exams as it was first time stayed at home for more than 20 days and enjoyed a lot with family and frnds...
and most important thing is we have become "seniors"...

here after, we had enough time to enjoy our life at our university.but started learning many softwares and languages as a part of curriculum and to improve myself.i also planned to be a part of clubs and concentrated on it too..

second half of 2008 was just ok as we were involved in doin IBM proj(we din complete it thou)...
and second year life is kinda routine..as we entered our core..we had all normal subjects but enjoyed all classes because of our very friendly lecturers.. never felt like i am sitting in the class..i must thank them for this thing...
its very bad to say that i had nerdy roommates in my second year.. so i had to bear them also..

wat happend to me??? i hav lots of things to blog but when i start typing i hav none in my mind.. wat d heck is this??

don worry.. this happens everytime to me.. but its quite difficult to remember everything that we have done in our lives... and same problem exists with me too...and i am wired while posting this thing..

finally,year 2008 came to an end with lots of happy moments.. i really had lots to write but dont know wat happend to me right now,i am not in a position to wirte them down..
hope,i would do better in my next post..tq.

problems r only for good people..!!!

if someone ever asks me,which is good
"being good or bad?" i would suggest them to be a bad person.

you might think my suggestion is absolutely wrong. but i do have lots of reasons to show that being bad is very much better than being good.
wise people says that "God would test patience of only good but not the bad".. this is absolutely true to some extent.
qualities qhich shows that u r good, being honest, loyal & frank.
if u have all these qualities,then people wont care about and even they would stop talking to you.

sometimes people might not love you for being like this.

but if you are "bad".. like being in love wit a girl and dumping her after sometime.. everyone likes this guy and this guy would be the most happiest person on the earth..

God will not test this guy but tonly the one who really cares and who is really good would face the punishment..

you would slowly realize reason behind this post....... i was just mood out because of many things...

finally, good always suffers & bad always enjoys....

year 2007 in breif...!!!

year 2007 is  a great year in my life where in i have completed my 12th standard and joined Engineering in Computer Science Department in an University.
i  never thought that i would engineering before the completion of my 12th standard.once the results were out ,i got to know i should something further. though i had an idea of doing Engineering but didnt know about Engineering colleges. Finally, i have applied for SASTRA University dat too on the very last day.
well.after a week i got a letter from the university saying to attend counselling in a week or so.then everything is changed. finally joined Engineering in ICT dept.

everybody says that life would be really different in Engineering. And even i am saying the same. there were lots of happy moments and many sad moments because of home sick and also a bit ragging in the process of meeting our seniors.
anyway,dis year i just spent my life in getting to what is Engineering and participating many clubs and creating awareness about various acxtivities happening around the campus.
first three months are for understanding people and being friendly with them.and next with mid sem exams and forgot to tell you the main thing.
i was an IIT freak and was preparing for IIT. gave a shot to get in to an IIT.
on a whole, year was just fine and reached the end of the sem and this is the month of december.

exams over and met all my friends after a long time and came back with tears in eyes as it was kind of new for me.then life in the campus was same asusual.spent the next sem wit various Tech  & Cultural fest.and i can say that i had a great time in this semester,

there was a reason for having a gud time in this sem. i met many new people and new friendships and many more things.

there is nothing much to say about this year as i was very new to this place and people.
u might think like why is this guy telling about his past n what does he exactly want to convey through this..
well.. this is wat i wanted u to ask me...

my post would be in normal english  becauxse i don wanna use complex which are nt meant to be used to make people understand.whenever i share something with people,i feel so happy and feel lik as if something has been taken out of my heart.
dats the end of the year 2007 and my first year of Engineering too....
would be coming up with the next year in the next post..
